Suspension and Brakes

Barrett-Jackson Car Show Palm Beach | Event Golf Cart Rental

Our customers rent golf carts for a variety of uses, including an alternative to a rental car for vacation, utility carts for transporting building materials around a construction site, and shuttling guests to and from a wedding venue. Another common use of our rental carts is for events, such as the upcoming Barrett-Jackson car show Palm Beach. This event runs from April 24th to April 26th, and is located at the South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. By booking a 3-day or 5-day rental through our application form, you too can make your event experience something to remember.

For any car enthusiasts, the Barrett-Jackson car show Palm Beach is an exhibition and auction with a variety of exotic and unique cars, along with a huge Exhibitor Marketplace, various food and drink options, sponsor displays, and famous attendees. Most of the event is indoors, and outside features thrill rides and hot laps, where guests age 8 (48″ tall or higher) and above can ride with the pros in the latest vehicles. There are even off-site driving experience opportunities for guests 18 or older with a valid driver’s license, offered on late-model vehicles from top manufacturers.

Our most common rental golf carts are 4 passenger and 6 passenger standard, with smooth tires for residential streets. Lifted golf carts have a higher ground clearance, and bumpy tires for rough terrain or off-roading. Nearly all of our carts are electric rather than gas.

Golf Cart Customization Options

Custom Paint Job and Seats

Our custom paint jobs are one of our most popular golf cart customization options, with our colored flames for California Roadster and 39 Roadster carts always attracting the attention of any golf cart fan. Also available for our Roadster carts is the woody paint job, where a wood-grain pattern is airbrushed onto the sides, hood, and back trunk.

Custom seats are also often seen with carts that have a custom paint job. At Prime Cart Parts, you can purchase custom two-tone seats for an Advanced EV golf cart, which we can then install at our service location for an additional charge. Other custom seats purchased elsewhere may also be able to be installed by our team.

Rims and Tires, Lift Kit

At our multiple store locations, we sell custom golf cart rims and tires, for standard street tires and bumpy lifted tires. Not only can we switch out your tires, we can also install a lift kit on certain brands of cart to raise it several inches, and allow it to have bigger tires for lifted carts.

Body Style

A variety of custom body shapes are available for common brands of golf cart like Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. This is when the front and/or back end of the cart is removed and replaced with a differently shaped body piece, which can be purchased separately from other stores. These body styles are most often similar to cars, and give the cart the appearance of a mini version of that car.

Among these are various types of lithium battery services, including installing a lithium battery system, and performing maintenance on a lithium battery that has an issue such as reduced driving time, fault lights coming on, or not charging when plugged in. These are all issues that our highly-trained team of technicians and mechanics can diagnose and repair, with quick service time and affordable pricing.

Lithium Battery Services Upgrade

Converting from a lead-acid battery system to a lithium battery system comes with a several benefits, and our lithium battery services team can provide. The most common type of golf cart batteries are lead-acid, usually coming in a set of 6 or 8. However, they have several disadvantages compared to lithium batteries – they are much heavier, have a shorter lifespan, and have much less driving range. Listed below are some of the many benefits that come with upgrading a golf cart to a lithium battery system.

Longer Lifespan: Lithium batteries can last for upwards of 10 years or more, while lead-acid batteries typically only last around 2 to 3 years when the cart is driven regularly. The driving range of lithium batteries can also increase with the more charging cycles it goes through during its lifespan.

Faster Charging Time: A lithium battery can recharge from a very low percentage to full in just about 5 hours, while lead-acid batteries can take up to 18 hours to fully recharge if they are very low. If run down too low, lead-acid batteries may not even be able to recharge with a regular charging cable. Lithium batteries can be run down to as low as 5% and still bounce back in just a few hours, with nothing more than a regular charging cable and a regular 110V house outlet.

Less Weight: Most lithium batteries typically weigh around 70 to 100 pounds, and only require one to power the cart. Lead-acid batteries can weigh around 50-60 pounds each, and when there’s a set of 6 or 8, it can add up to 400 pounds of extra weight to the golf cart. Installing a lithium battery will take off much of that weight, and can possibly allow your cart to drive faster, as it’s not weighed down as much.

No Maintenance: Unlike lead-acid batteries, which need to be refilled with distilled water every few months and have their terminals cleaned of corrosion, lithium batteries are sealed and do not require any maintenance. For seasonal residents who leave their carts in storage for several months at a time, a lithium battery will keep most of its charge as well, while lead-acid batteries will discharge over a period of many months without use.

Environmentally Friendly: Lithium batteries do not contain the same hazardous chemicals, such as lead and sulfuric acid, that lead-acid batteries do, and do not run the risk of giving off dangerous fumes when plugged in to charge.

Holiday in Paradise Palm Beach | Christmas Golf Cart Rental

Many of our golf cart rental customers rent a cart for an event in south Florida. Holiday in Paradise Palm Beach is a festival event featuring a giant sand tree and Ferris wheel, with synchronized music and light shows every evening of the event. The event duration is from December 5th to December 31st, and is located in Great Lawn, West Palm Beach Waterfront, 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Along with this is Winter Wonderland at The Ben, which features south Florida’s first and only real outdoor ice skating rink, along with food and beverages, music and entertainment, and a variety of activities for all ages. The event takes place from November 2nd, 2024 to March 1st, 2025 at The Ben West Palm, 251 N Narcissus Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

Holiday in Paradise Palm Beach

This event features a 35 foot, 700 ton Christmas tree made of sand, and a 50 foot Ferris wheel – both of which light up. Other activities include a 50-ton sand bar and giant pirate ship where children can play, as well as 100 tons of various other sand sculptures.

Winter Wonderland at The Ben

This event features south Florida’s first and only outdoor ice-skating rink, where skate rentals are included in the price of entry. Along with ice skating is also festive food and beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails, limited edition holiday merchandise, clothing, and novelties, and a gingerbread village.

Many customers ask about increasing the speed of their golf cart. This kind of upgrade is done through the golf cart’s motor controller, a service that we offer. One of the industry’s best controllers is the Navitas AC motor controller, which we sell both by itself, and offer installation at our service center.

About Navitas AC Motor Controller

The Navitas AC motor controller can be programmed to increase the speed and power of a golf cart, as well as offer more miles per charge, and is small and easy to install. They are designed for various types of golf carts, including Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, Star, Advanced EV, and more. The Navitas AC motor controller also has regenerative braking, meaning when the golf cart brakes, excess energy is reserved in order to extend the charge. An app for the Navitas controller is also available to be downloaded on both iOS and Android phones, where customers can easily check vehicle status, as well as remotely lock their vehicle, monitor usage and performance, or notify their dealers with diagnostic information.

6 Passenger Mokee Golf Cart | America EV Mokee | Mokee Cart

One of our well-known carts, both for rental and for sale, are our Mokee golf carts, made by our own company America EV headquartered in Riviera Beach, FL. All of our America EV golf carts, which include the California Roadster and 39 Roadster as well as the Mokee, are assembled with brand new parts at our Florida location. Until now, our Mokee golf cart has only come as a 4 passenger model. We have just begun to produce our all new 6 passenger Mokee golf cart, with the same great features that make the 4 passenger Mokee, only with additional seating.

6 Passenger Mokee Golf Cart

The 6 passenger Mokee golf cart has the same smooth tires and sturdy body as the 4 passenger, only with 2 additional seats in the back. These back seats can also be folded down for extra storage space. They are street legal low speed vehicles (LSVs), and come with a 17-digit VIN, along with all safety features of a street legal golf cart. These include headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, side view mirrors, seat belts, and a maximum speed of approximately 24mph. LSV carts can be driven on roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less.

One of our most popular golf cart rental delivery locations is our Miami golf cart rental and the various nearby cities and towns in Dade county. Street legal golf carts, which have a maximum speed of 24mph, are required on main roads, and can drive on roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less. Also near Miami Beach is the Wynwood art district, with incredible artistic attractions including Wynwood Walls, where a large space is covered by huge, colorful street murals painted by various artists from all over the world, as well as the RC Cola Plant and the Paradox Museum. Between Miami Beach and the rest of Miami on the mainland is Watson Island, home to the theme park Jungle Island, where you can find almost 3,000 different animal, bird, and plant species, as well as trails and a petting zoo.
